I don't know what I would do without Spanish wine, swing skirts, my passport, and especially, my camera.

When I don't physically have my camera with me, I'm still taking photos. I'm kind of like a dog when it sees a squirrel. I'll be out with friends and all of a sudden I stop or walk a different way because I saw a spot that would be such a great backdrop. I'm always on the hunt for unique details! Whether that's while meeting new people and learning their stories, capturing a special moment in someone's life, or trying to figure out what accessories to wear.

I spend my free time hula hooping, laying in a hammock, or not knowing the answers to trivia questions, unless they are about Ryan Gosling.

When a friend says the lyric to a song in conversation, I start singing that song out loud, even if I haven't heard it in years.

I am very grateful to have had the privilege of traveling around Europe twice. The first time I was by myself with only want I could carry in my backpack for 3 months. The second time I had my mother's ashes with me to scatter everywhere I could. You can see that journey here.

I was really great at naming cats as a child. A few examples: Little Meow, Puff Daddy, Scoopsies, and Tuffy.

Growing up, my mom took a lot of photos of me, and those prints (along with other sentimental items in my memory box) became some of my most prized possessions, especially after she passed away almost 9 years ago. I also loved looking through the albums at my Nana's house and asking her about who all of my relatives were in the old, worn photographs. Even when they are no longer physically with us, our loved ones are forever documented with photographs. Time gets away from us and photos help transport us back in time and be able to relive memories that seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye.
